Americas Best Value Inn Geneva

I feel bad for some of the reviews, after reading them we were a bit worried and only came here because everything else was full. The young man at the desk was very polite, I specifically asked for a clean room, etc, based on the reviews, and he assured me it was nice. Actually was, comfortable bed, yes, the decor is a bit dated, but not dirty or smelly, everything worked, for the price a very good value. I hope more people see its not so bad, just mention you want to be sure its a nice room! Maybe there are some that are not so great.

Charming reception staff. Great location. Although on main Street, room was quiet Pros: clean. Fridge microwave convenience. Good size TV. Con: small bathroom. A shelf would help for very limited counter space.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and came online to book another stay... noticed some of the terrible reviews and figured I had to speak out. Of course this is not a 4 star hotel... it's a budget hotel. The architecture of the buildings and the room decor is from the 1960's or 70's, and I dont mean that in a bad way... the place has character and style, it is very funky and cool! To me it kind of feels like stepping back in time to my childhood and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. The rooms that I have seen had nothing wrong with them and were acceptably clean. The only negative thing I could say about this hotel is they make you fill out a guest card when you check in even though you have already provided all your information during the online reservation process. Oh well, a small inconvenience but also a chance to chat with one of the owners... I love this place and the location is perfect for getting to events that I attend in the area. I know I'll stay here many times in the future.

There website says they serve a continental breakfast NO breakfast. The lobby has a mildew smell. Friendly staff. I was worried about the room. The room is clean and comfy. Pillows are nice the bed is firm.

I was leery of why this hotel was as inexpensive as it was and because of the reviews. The hotel is a bit dated, no doubt about that, but the bed was comfortable and the tv remote worked well, as did the refrigerator. The jetted tub was clean - even though I brought my own cleaner just in case - the jets didn't blow out any gunk or yuck. The tub and shower area would have been my biggest complaint if I had actually used them - the shower head was crusted with lime and calcification and didn't give a good spray. The room was clean and impressive compared to what I was prepared for. We had stayed at another nearby hotel the week before that cost twice the price. We will be back to Americas Best Inn in Geneva.

For the price of $120 on Memorial Day weekend it was good! We had a decent room with a king size bed which had fresh sheets and comforter. The bathroom had a new toilet and sink. Of course it wasn't the Waldorf but you also are not paying $300 per night either. We had originally paid to stay at a different hotel which looked like a broken down shack with a lopsided bed and no heat for more money. We got a refund and thank goodness found this place. We slept very well! If you are looking to save a few bucks we highly recommend Americas Best. Owner was very friendly too!

Budget level room compared to other properties in the vicinity. Room was clean and tidy. Everything worked as expected. Service was prompt, friendly and courteous. Close to very good eating options. Property is older and needs much work. In summary, I needed a cheap, clean room and that's what I got. Pleased with my stay.

From the first phone call made, AK & Mike were SUPER friendly. They were efficient, friendly and accommodating since our check in. The rooms are super clean and they made our 2 night stay a memorable one. Located near lots of stores. Thanks guys! You ROCK! 5 Stars all the way!
